Rich And Dynamic life coaching, rooted in connection, with a side of Recreation Therapy.
I’m Jenn—your Connection Coach and Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
I blend life coaching with evidence-informed recreation therapy to help people build skills, confidence, and community through play, purpose, and practice.
RAD stands for Rich And Dynamic—a nod to the depth and range of this work. Over 20 years in mental health and wellness taught me what really moves the needle: compassion, creativity, and consistent, doable steps. Recreation therapy and coaching are the perfect combo—equal parts structure and spark—to help you create a life that feels like yours.
We need connection - to ourselves, to others, and also to our community. Where we focus is up to you and your goals, but improving awareness and relationships with any and all of these three will undoubtedly lead to more joy.
Connection is the thread that runs through everything here—connection to yourself, another person, and your communities.
In coaching, we focus on your goals and build momentum with support, structure, and gentle accountability. When we strengthen connection, we often see better self-awareness, resilience, and more meaningful engagement in daily life.
As a Recreation Therapist, I design and facilitate recreation & leisure-based activities as therapeutic interventions to improve quality of life and wellbeing.
Think: playful, purposeful experiences that target social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual domains—always adapted to your abilities, interests, culture, and context.
Individuals (all ages) interested in improving their quality of life and wellbeing related to behavioral and mental health, geriatric care, substance use, general medicine, developmental disabilities, physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Hospitals, housing and healthcare centers, hospice, home and community-based programs, parks and recreation programs, schools, prisons, contract & private practice, as consultants, and residential settings.
There are also recreational therapists who work in academic and research settings.
You can get started with either 1:1 coaching or come see me in the community.
Everyone begins with a 30-minute Connect Call to see if we’re a good fit. We’ll clarify what you want, what might be in the way, and what support will help. There’s a small $10 fee that’s applied to your first coaching session if we continue.
I’ve partnered with the Wellbeing Collective through the Momentum Center in Grand Haven, MI to provide accessible opportunities for individuals and families to explore different paths to well-being.
What you’ll experience:
A mixed bag of playful, facilitated activities meant to educate individuals about the value of play in our lives, and provide opportunities to practice new skills in community with others.
Some examples include: Creating a playful mindset; Play to improve physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and intellectual wellbeing; The benefits of laughter; Creative expression.
Everyone starts here. This is a 30-minute initial chat to see if we will be a good fit. This is not a coaching session. We’ll focus on why you are seeking out coaching, what results you are looking to achieve, what you need to achieve them, and if I am the coach to support you through it.
There is a $10 fee for the Connect Call. If you choose to move forward with Coaching, this $10 will go toward your first session.
